Render beef tallow until fully melted and strained
Let the tallow cool until soft but not solid
Whip the tallow with a hand mixer until fluffy
Add a small amount of liquid oil if desired
Add essential oil if desired
Mix until smooth and fully combined
Spoon into clean jars or tins
Let set at room temperature or in the refrigerator
Store in a cool, dry place
