Shuck the corn and remove all silk
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil
Boil the corn for 5 to 7 minutes until tender
Drain the corn and pat it dry
Melt butter in a bowl
Brush or coat the corn evenly with melted butter
Sprinkle on a mix of salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika
Add a little cayenne pepper if you want heat
Toss or roll the corn until fully coated
Serve immediately while hot
