How To Merge Columns In Excel?

Select the cells you want to merge

Go to the Home tab

Click Merge & Center in the Alignment group

Choose Merge & Center, Merge Across, Merge Cells, or Unmerge Cells

If needed, use CONCAT, TEXTJOIN, or the ampersand operator to combine column contents without losing data

Copy the formula down the column if combining multiple rows

Replace formulas with values if you want to keep the merged results permanently
