How To Mince Garlic?

Peel the garlic clove

Cut off the root end

Smash the clove with the flat side of a knife to loosen the skin

Remove any loose skin

Slice the clove lengthwise into thin strips

Stack the strips

Chop across the stack into small pieces to mince

Gather and repeat chopping until the desired mince size

Optionally mince with a garlic press by placing peeled cloves in the press and squeezing into a bowl
