Open the Zoom meeting
Click the microphone icon in the bottom-left corner
If the icon shows a red slash, you are muted
To mute yourself with a keyboard shortcut, press Alt + A on Windows or Command + Shift + A on Mac
To mute all participants as the host, click Participants
Click Mute All
To prevent participants from unmuting themselves, uncheck Allow participants to unmute themselves
On mobile, tap the screen
Tap Mute in the meeting controls
To unmute, click or tap the microphone icon again
