How to Pack China for Moving?

Gather sturdy boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, packing tape, and markers

Sort china by size, shape, and fragility

Wrap each piece individually in packing paper

Add a layer of bubble wrap for especially delicate items

Place crumpled paper or soft padding at the bottom of each box

Pack plates vertically on their edges, not flat

Pack bowls and cups with padding inside and around them

Use dividers for cups, saucers, and small fragile pieces

Fill empty spaces with packing paper to prevent shifting

Keep heavier pieces at the bottom and lighter pieces on top

Do not overpack boxes

Tape boxes securely on the bottom and top

Label boxes as Fragile and This Side Up

Mark boxes with the room they belong in

Carry boxes carefully and avoid stacking heavy items on them

Open and unpack china boxes first after moving
