How to Paint Laminate Countertops?

Clean the countertop thoroughly with soap and water

Rinse and let the surface dry completely

Wipe away all dust with a tack cloth or damp microfiber cloth

Tape off sinks, walls, cabinets, and edges

Apply a bonding primer made for laminate surfaces

Let the primer dry according to the label

Lightly sand the primed surface if needed

Wipe away dust again

Apply a durable countertop paint or epoxy coating

Use thin, even coats

Allow each coat to dry fully before applying the next

Apply additional coats as needed for full coverage

Finish with a clear protective topcoat if recommended

Let the countertop cure fully before use

Avoid heavy use, water, and cleaning products during curing
