Remove old polish
Wash and dry your hands
Trim and file nails
Push back cuticles
Buff the nail surface lightly
Clean nails with alcohol or nail polish remover
Apply a base coat
Let the base coat dry
Apply a thin first coat of polish
Let it dry
Apply a second thin coat
Let it dry
Seal with a top coat
Clean up polish around the edges
Let nails dry completely
Apply cuticle oil if desired
