Open the Alexa app on your phone
Sign in to your Amazon account
Plug in your Alexa device and wait for the light ring to turn orange
If the light does not turn orange, press and hold the Action button until it does
In the Alexa app, tap Devices
Tap the plus icon
Tap Add Device
Select Amazon Echo
Select your Echo model
Follow the on-screen instructions
Choose your Wi-Fi network
Enter your Wi-Fi password
Wait for the device to connect
Test the connection by saying a command to Alexa
