Turn on Bluetooth on the device you want to pair with
Open the iPod’s Settings app
Tap Bluetooth
Turn Bluetooth on
Put the iPod and the other device close together
If pairing AirPods or a Bluetooth accessory, put it in pairing mode
Wait for the device name to appear on the iPod
Tap the device name
Confirm the pairing if prompted
Enter the passcode if required
Wait until the device shows as connected
Test the connection by playing audio or using the accessory
