How to Play Go Fish with 2 Players?

Use a standard 52-card deck

Shuffle the deck thoroughly

Deal 7 cards to each player

Place the remaining cards face down as the draw pile

Decide who goes first

On your turn, ask the other player for a specific rank you already have in your hand

You must already hold at least one card of that rank

Example: “Do you have any 7s?”

If the other player has one or more cards of that rank, they must give all of them to you

If they do not have any, they say “Go fish”

Draw the top card from the draw pile

If you draw the rank you asked for, you get another turn

If you do not draw it, your turn ends

After each turn, check your hand for any four-of-a-kind sets

When you have 4 cards of the same rank, lay them down face up as a completed set

Keep taking turns until the draw pile is empty and one player has no cards left

The game ends when all sets have been made

Count completed sets to determine the winner

The player with the most sets wins

If both players have the same number of sets, the game is a tie
