Deal 7 cards to each player in a 2-player game, or 5 cards each in a 3–6 player game
Place the remaining cards face down as the draw pile
Decide who goes first
On your turn, ask one player for a specific rank you already hold at least one of
Example: “Do you have any 7s?”
The player you ask must give you all cards of that rank if they have any
If they do not have any, they say “Go fish”
If told to “Go fish,” draw one card from the draw pile
If you draw the rank you asked for, you get another turn
If you draw any other card, your turn ends
When you collect four cards of the same rank, place them face up as a completed set
Keep taking turns until all cards are used or no cards remain in hands
The player with the most completed sets wins
