Power pumping is a breastfeeding/pumping routine designed to mimic cluster feeding and help increase milk supply
Choose a time when you can pump uninterrupted for about 1 hour
Use a double electric pump if possible
Pump for 20 minutes
Rest for 10 minutes
Pump for 10 minutes
Rest for 10 minutes
Pump for 10 minutes
Repeat once daily for several days if needed
Keep your normal pumping or breastfeeding schedule outside the power-pumping session
Make sure the pump flanges fit correctly
Stay hydrated and eat regularly
Use breast massage or compression while pumping if comfortable
Stop if you have pain, nipple damage, or signs of mastitis
Contact a lactation consultant or healthcare professional if supply concerns continue
