How to Prepare Chai?

Boil 1 cup of water in a saucepan

Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of tea leaves or 1 tea bag

Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of sugar, if desired

Add 1/2 to 1 cup of milk

Add crushed ginger, cardamom, cloves, or cinnamon, if desired

Simmer for 2 to 5 minutes

Strain into a cup

Serve hot
