Rinse the garlic scapes under cold water
Trim off the tough blossom ends
Cut off the woody stem ends if needed
Pat them dry
Slice them into desired lengths
Remove any very tough outer parts
Use raw in salads, pesto, or dips
Sauté in oil or butter
Roast with salt and pepper
Grill until lightly charred
Stir-fry with vegetables or protein
Pickle for later use
Add to soups, eggs, pasta, or stir-fries
