2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Whisk the heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until the sugar dissolves
Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours
Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker
Churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions
Transfer the ice cream to a freezer-safe container
Freeze for 2 to 4 hours until firm
Scoop and serve
