Turn off the sewing machine
Raise the needle to its highest position
Lift the presser foot
Open the bobbin cover or bobbin compartment
Remove the empty bobbin case if your machine uses one
Insert the bobbin into the bobbin case or bobbin area in the correct direction
Pull the thread through the slot or tension spring if required
Leave a short thread tail
Place the bobbin case back into the machine if applicable
Close the bobbin cover
Pull the bobbin thread up if your machine requires it
Turn the handwheel to bring up the bobbin thread
Pull both top and bobbin threads to the back under the presser foot
