Find the strap button at the base of the guitar
Attach one end of the strap to the bottom strap button
If there is a second strap button near the neck, attach the other end there
If there is no second strap button, tie the neck end of the strap around the headstock under the strings
Make sure the strap is not twisted
Adjust the strap length for a comfortable playing position
Check that both ends are secure before playing
