Flip the Ring/Silent switch on the left side of the iPhone so the orange indicator shows
Open Control Center and tap the bell icon if available
Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics and lower the Ringer and Alerts volume
Turn on Do Not Disturb or a Focus mode in Control Center or Settings
Enable Silent Mode for specific apps in their notification settings
