Change the water every 30 minutes until thawed
Use the microwave’s defrost setting in short intervals
Rotate and break up the meat as it softens
Cook immediately after microwave thawing
Thaw on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator if you have more time
Keep the beef in a leak-proof package while thawing
Do not use hot water
Do not leave ground beef at room temperature
