Elevate your legs above heart level for 20–30 minutes
Walk or do gentle ankle pumps every hour
Reduce salt intake immediately

Apply a cool compress for 10–15 minutes
Massage the legs gently toward the heart
Lie on your left side if swelling is from pregnancy
