Open the App Store
Tap your profile icon in the top right
Pull down to refresh the app updates list
Tap Update All or update individual apps
Open Settings
Tap General
Tap Background App Refresh
Turn Background App Refresh on
Choose Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi & Cellular Data
Close and reopen the app
Restart the iPhone
Check for iOS updates in Settings
Tap General
Tap Software Update
Install any available update
