Add rice to a microwave-safe bowl
Sprinkle a few drops of water over the rice
Cover the bowl loosely with a damp paper towel or lid
Microwave in short intervals, stirring between intervals
Heat until the rice is steaming hot throughout
Add rice to a skillet or pan
Add a small splash of water or broth
Cover and heat over low to medium heat
Stir occasionally until warmed through
Add rice to a steamer-safe dish
Steam until hot and fluffy
Reheat only the amount you plan to eat
Store leftover rice in the refrigerator promptly
Discard rice that has been left out too long
