Open the sliding door fully
Remove the screen door if present
Lift the door panel upward into the top track
Pull the bottom edge toward you
Tilt the panel out of the frame
Set the panel aside safely
Remove the stationary panel if needed
Pry off the interior stop trim carefully
Unscrew any retaining brackets or screws
Lift the stationary panel upward
Pull the bottom edge inward
Remove the panel from the frame
Take out the track cover or sill trim if needed
Remove the remaining frame screws
Lift the frame sections out carefully
Clean up any remaining hardware or debris
