Lift the wiper arm away from the windshield
Locate the release tab, button, or clip where the blade connects to the arm
Press or lift the release tab
Slide the blade downward or outward to detach it from the hook or connector
If there is a locking pin or side tab, release it before pulling the blade off
Remove the old blade from the arm
Lower the wiper arm carefully back onto the windshield or hold it securely while replacing the blade
