Turn off the power to the circuit or unplug the device
Identify the blown fuse
Remove the fuse from its holder
Check the fuse rating and type
Replace it with a new fuse of the exact same rating and type
Reinstall the fuse securely
Restore power
Test the circuit or device
If the new fuse blows again, stop and inspect for a fault or call a qualified electrician
