How to Repair Outdoor Faucet?

Turn off the water supply to the outdoor faucet

Open the faucet to drain any remaining water

Inspect the faucet for leaks, cracks, or corrosion

Remove the handle screw and take off the handle

Remove the packing nut with a wrench

Pull out the stem assembly

Replace the washer, O-rings, and any worn seals

Clean mineral buildup from the faucet parts

Reassemble the stem, packing nut, and handle

Tighten all connections securely

Turn the water supply back on

Check for leaks and tighten or replace parts as needed

Replace the entire faucet if the body is cracked or badly corroded
