Purchase a replacement vent hose or duct that matches the dryer connection
Attach the new vent hose to the dryer outlet
Secure the connection with a clamp or foil tape
Connect the other end to the wall vent
Secure that connection with a clamp or foil tape
Ensure the vent hose is not crushed, kinked, or overly stretched
Push the dryer back into place carefully
Check that the vent path remains straight and unobstructed
Reconnect power and gas if applicable
Run the dryer briefly to confirm proper airflow and secure connections
