Remove the window screen from the frame
Measure the screen frame dimensions
Buy replacement screen mesh and spline
Lay the new mesh over the frame
Place the spline into the frame groove
Use a spline roller to press the spline in
Keep the mesh taut while rolling
Trim excess mesh with a utility knife
Reinstall the screen in the window frame
Check that the screen fits securely
