Press the Menu or Settings button on the Vizio remote
Go to System
Select Reset & Admin
Select Reset TV to Factory Defaults
Enter the parental code if prompted
Confirm the reset
Wait for the TV to restart and complete the reset
If the remote is not working, press and hold the Volume Down and Input buttons on the TV
Keep holding for about 10 to 15 seconds
Release when the TV shows a reset message
Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm
If needed, unplug the TV from power
Press and hold the Power button on the TV for 10 seconds
Plug the TV back in
Try the reset steps again
If the TV is frozen, perform a power cycle first
Unplug the TV from power
Wait 60 seconds
Plug it back in
Retry the reset process
