Back up your important files
Plug in the charger
Open Settings
Select System
Select Recovery
Under Reset this PC, click Reset PC
Choose Keep my files or Remove everything
Follow the on-screen prompts
Select Local reinstall or Cloud download
Confirm the reset
Wait for the laptop to restart and complete the reset
If Windows will not boot, restart the laptop and press F12 repeatedly
Select SupportAssist OS Recovery or Dell Recovery
Choose Reset or Restore
Follow the on-screen instructions to finish the factory reset
