How To Roast A Pumpkin?

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C)

Wash the pumpkin

Cut the pumpkin in half

Scoop out the seeds and stringy pulp

Cut the pumpkin into wedges or chunks

Place the pieces on a baking sheet

Drizzle with oil if desired

Sprinkle with salt if desired

Roast for 30 to 45 minutes

Flip halfway through cooking

Roast until the flesh is tender and easily pierced with a fork

Remove from the oven

Let cool slightly before handling

Peel off the skin or scoop out the flesh
