How to Screw into Brick?

Mark the hole location on the brick, not the mortar

Use a hammer drill with a masonry bit sized for the anchor or screw

Drill straight into the brick to the required depth

Clear dust from the hole

Insert a suitable masonry anchor or plug if needed

Align the item to be mounted

Drive the masonry screw or screw into the anchor with the correct driver

Tighten until secure, but do not overtighten

Use stainless or coated fasteners for outdoor use

Avoid drilling into damaged or crumbling brick
