Wash the pan with warm water and dish soap
Dry it completely
Heat the pan over medium heat until it is fully dry and warm
Add a thin layer of high-smoke-point oil
Spread the oil evenly over the entire cooking surface
Heat the pan until the oil begins to smoke lightly
Turn off the heat and let the pan cool completely
Wipe out any excess oil with a clean paper towel
Repeat the process if desired for a stronger seasoning layer
Use the pan regularly and avoid harsh scrubbing to maintain the seasoning
