Open WhatsApp on your iPhone
Tap the Status tab at the bottom
View the list of available status updates
Tap a contact’s status to open it
Swipe left or right to move between status updates
Tap the screen to pause a status
Swipe up to see who viewed your status, if it is your own status
Make sure you have an active internet connection
Update WhatsApp if Status is not showing
Check that the contact has posted a status and you have not muted them
