Enable Twitch VOD storage by turning on “Store past broadcasts” in your Twitch Creator Dashboard
Keep your account in good standing and follow Twitch Community Guidelines and Terms of Service

Download important VODs before they expire
Export VODs to another platform or cloud storage for long-term backup
