Leave the pit in the avocado half
Brush or sprinkle the cut surface with lemon or lime juice
Press plastic wrap directly onto the exposed flesh
Seal the avocado in an airtight container
Store it in the refrigerator
Use within 1 to 2 days for best quality
If storing slices, keep them tightly covered with minimal air exposure
For longer storage, mash with lemon juice and freeze in a sealed container
