Press Alt + PrtScn to capture the active window
Press Windows key + PrtScn to capture the entire screen and save it automatically
Press Windows key + Shift + S to open the snipping tool and select a screen area
On some laptops, press Fn + PrtScn instead of PrtScn
On some laptops, press Fn + Windows key + PrtScn to save a full-screen screenshot
Paste the screenshot into Paint, Word, or another app using Ctrl + V if needed
