Nasal congestion or stuffiness that lasts more than 10 days
Thick nasal discharge (often yellow or green)
Facial pain, pressure, or tenderness (cheeks, forehead, around the eyes)
Worsening symptoms after initial improvement
Pain or pressure that increases when bending forward
Reduced sense of smell
Cough, especially at night, due to post-nasal drip
Sore throat from post-nasal drip
Bad breath (halitosis)
Tooth pain, especially in the upper teeth
Ear fullness or pressure
Mild fever (often less common than with a cold)
Fatigue or feeling generally unwell
Symptoms that are severe (high fever and significant facial pain) for at least 3–4 days
