How To Tell If Your Contacts Inside Out?

Place the lens on the tip of your finger and look at its shape from the side

If the edges flare outward like a bowl, it is likely inside out

If the edges curve upward smoothly like a perfect cup, it is likely right side out

Check whether the lens forms a neat U shape or a more flared V shape

Look for the edge tint: a lens that looks more open and less rounded is often inside out

Pinch test the lens gently between your fingers; if the edges spread apart easily, it may be inside out

Place the lens on your fingertip and compare it to a taco shape; a taco shape usually means right side out

If the lens looks like a soup bowl with the rim turned outward, it is likely inside out

Check for markings if your brand has them

If the lens feels uncomfortable immediately after insertion, it may be inside out

If vision is blurry or the lens does not sit centered, it may be inside out
