Overlap the two line ends
Take one line and form a loop back over both lines
Wrap the tag end around both lines through the loop 5 to 7 times
Pull the tag end to tighten the wraps
Repeat the same steps with the other line end
Moisten both knots
Pull the standing lines in opposite directions to slide the knots together
Tighten firmly
Trim the tag ends close to the knot
