Sign the motorcycle title in the seller section
Fill in the buyer’s name and address on the title
Record the odometer reading if required
Complete the Vehicle Transfer Notification with TxDMV
Remove the license plates from the motorcycle
Give the buyer the signed title and a bill of sale if available
Buyer submits the signed title, application for title, and proof of insurance to the county tax office
Buyer pays the title transfer fees and motor vehicle sales tax
Buyer provides a valid government-issued ID
Buyer registers the motorcycle and gets new plates or registration sticker if needed
