Use prescribed antifungal medicine exactly as directed
Treat both baby and breastfeeding parent if advised
Sterilize pacifiers, bottle nipples, and feeding equipment daily
Wash hands before and after feeding or diaper changes
Clean and dry the baby’s mouth and feeding items regularly
Wash bras, nursing pads, and clothing in hot water if breastfeeding
Replace pacifiers and bottle nipples if they are worn or cracked
Continue treatment for the full prescribed course
Monitor for poor feeding, fussiness, diaper rash, or worsening symptoms
Seek prompt medical care if the baby is under 3 months old, has a fever, or is not feeding well
