Locate the traction control button or switch in your vehicle
Turn the ignition to the ON position
Press and hold the traction control button until the indicator light appears
Check the dashboard for the traction control warning light
If no button is present, consult the owner’s manual for the disable procedure
Use the vehicle settings menu if traction control is controlled electronically
Restart the vehicle if the system does not disable immediately
Turn traction control back on when finished by pressing the button again or restarting the vehicle
