Remove the valve cap from the tire
Press the tire gauge firmly onto the valve stem
Hold it in place until the reading stops changing
Read the pressure shown on the gauge
Compare the reading to the recommended tire pressure
Add air if the pressure is too low
Release air if the pressure is too high
Recheck the pressure after adjusting
Replace the valve cap
Repeat for each tire
