Turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine
Press the odometer/trip button until the trip meter shows Trip A
Turn the ignition off
Press and hold the trip reset button
Turn the ignition back to ON while still holding the button
Keep holding until the maintenance light starts flashing and then turns off
Release the button
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to confirm the light is off
