Identify the exact processor model supported by your motherboard
Check motherboard socket type and chipset compatibility
Update the motherboard BIOS if required for the new processor
Power off the computer and unplug it from the wall
Disconnect all cables and open the case

Reinstall the CPU cooler securely
Reconnect the cooler fan cable to the motherboard
Close the case and reconnect all cables
Power on the computer and enter BIOS/UEFI
Verify that the new processor is detected
Check CPU temperature and system stability
Install any required chipset or system drivers
Run a stress test or normal workload to confirm proper operation
