Check the care label
Remove loose dirt with a soft brush
Fill a basin with cool or lukewarm water
Add a small amount of mild detergent
Spot clean stains with a soft cloth or toothbrush
Submerge the hat and gently swish it
Let it soak for 10 to 15 minutes
Rinse thoroughly with cool water
Press out excess water with a towel
Reshape the hat
Air dry on a clean towel or hat form
Keep away from direct heat and sunlight
Do not use bleach
Do not put in the dryer unless the label says it is safe
