Wear the watch regularly to keep it wound
If the watch has stopped, manually wind it if the movement allows it
Turn the crown clockwise slowly and gently
Stop when you feel resistance or the crown becomes hard to turn
Avoid overwinding the watch
Set the time after winding if needed
If the watch has a screw-down crown, unscrew it before winding and screw it back in after
If the watch does not support manual winding, wear it or use a watch winder
Keep the watch moving through normal wrist motion to maintain power
