Turn off power to the doorbell circuit at the breaker
Remove the existing doorbell button
Verify the transformer is compatible with the Ring Doorbell model
Check that the wiring is in good condition
Connect the two doorbell wires to the Ring Doorbell terminals
If required, install the included diode or power kit
Mount the Ring Doorbell to the wall or door frame
Restore power at the breaker
Complete setup in the Ring app
Test the doorbell button and chime operation
